It was merely a regular-season event between two nearby opponents – nothing special on the world’s soccer schedule. But it was amazing.

Today I express an opposite opinion about U.S. Soccer which has created a “Development Academy” that has announced it is moving to a 10-month season beginning in the fall of 2012.
In 2011-12, the MHSAA Lower Peninsula Boys and Girls Soccer Tournaments return to four equal divisions after 11 years under the “20 Percent Modification.”
