The Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League Showcase takes center stage this week when PlayOn! Sports, an MHSAA Network television partner, will feature two games on Xfinity.  The coverage will be of Wednesday’s (Feb. 6) MIHL Night at the four-day event, with Wyandotte Roosevelt taking on the top-ranked team in Division 3 – Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood; and two Division 1 powers – eighth-ranked Grosse Pointe North facing second-ranked Detroit Catholic Central – facing off in the second game.

Five finalists have been selected for the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s “Battle of the Fans II,” which for the second year will recognize the top student cheering section from among member schools and culminate in a video presentation including all five finalists during this season’s Girls and Boys Basketball Finals at Michigan State University’s Breslin Center.
