The MHSAA Network’s weekly radio show This Week In High School Sports, begins its fourth season on radio stations and audio webcast outlets across the state as part of their weekly prep coverage.

The five-minute program, powered by Michigan Student Aid, leads off each week with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half, or from network affiliated stories and interviews.  This Week Game Balls are then presented for team or individual achievements in the past week.  Be The Referee, a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, comes in the middle of the show; and is followed by a closing MHSAA Perspective.  The opening show will feature new Lansing Everett football coach Mike Smith; present game balls to the boys tennis team at Traverse City Central and the girls tennis teams at Ishpeming Westwood and West Iron County; address football rules changes for 2018 during Be The Referee;  and conclude with an MHSAA Perspective about the transition of executive directors at the Association, and how little critics really know about the organization and how it works.

This Week In High School Sports is posted to the home page of the MHSAA Website by Noon on Tuesday each week; and is also available on the MHSAA Network Website.  You can listen to this week’s show by Clicking Here
