EAST LANSING, Mich. – Nov. 23 – The Finals of the 2016 MHSAA Football Playoffs – powered by the Michigan Army National Guard – will be available live on a variety of platforms this weekend through the FoxSportsDetroit.com, MHSAANetwork.com and MHSAA.TV websites.

FOX Sports Detroit will carry six of the eight games live on cable and satellite.  Friday’s (Nov. 25) games in Divisions 8, 2 and 6 will all be shown live on FOX Sports Detroit.  On Saturday (Nov. 26), the Division 7 and 1 games will be shown live on FOX Sports Detroit, and the Division 5 game will be live on FOX Sports Detroit-PLUS.

The late game each day – Division 4 on Friday and Division 3 on Saturday – will be shown on a delayed basis Sunday (Nov. 27) evening on FOX Sports Detroit.  The Division 4 game will air at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Division 3 game at 9 p.m.

All of games will be live on the internet through the FOXSportsDetroit.com website, and on FOX Sports GO! for tablet and handheld users.

Archives of all games will be available for on-demand viewing on MHSAA.TV , which will also provide live streaming video of the post-game press conferences following the first three games each day. 

The MHSAANetwork.com website will carry live audio of all of this weekend’s championship games.

This week's edition of This Week In High School Sports will feature the Novi girls volleyball team; pass out one Game Ball; discuss illegal substitutions on Be The Referee, and finish with an MHSAA Perspective on how the Football Tournament host schools last weekend beat back Mother Nature.   This Week In High School Sports can generally be downloaded from the home page of the MHSAA Website by Tuesday morning each week.   For a complete list of complete list of the 86 outlets carrying the program, and to listen to archived programs, visit the This Week In High School Sports page of the MHSAA Website.
