EAST LANSING, Mich. – Aug. 24  –  The MHSAA Network’s weekly radio show/podcast This Week In High School Sports, makes its debut this week for its second season on over 70 radio stations and audio webcast outlets as part of their weekly prep coverage.

The five-minute program, presented by MI Student Aid, leads off each week with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half, or from network affiliated stories and interviews.  Be The Referee, a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, comes in the middle of the show; and is followed by a closing MHSAA Perspective.  The opening show will feature the Haslett High School football team, address rules changes in the Free Blocking Zone in Football on Be The Referee, and a Perspective about multiple-sport participation and sportsmanship.

This Week In High School Sports is posted on Tuesday each week, and can be found on the home page of the MHSAA Website.  You can listen to this week’s show by Clicking Here.
