EAST LANSING, Mich. – May 27 – Three  straight weekends of live MHSAA Spring  Championship action on the MHSAA.tv Website begins Saturday (May 30) with coverage in both peninsulas of the running events at the MHSAA Track & Field Finals.

Everything gets underway at 10 a.m. (EDT) on Saturday with the 3,200-meter relay Finals in both peninsulas.  Kingsford is hosting all three divisions of action in the Upper Peninsula; while Rockford High School in Division 1, Zeeland in Division 2, Comstock Park in Division 3, and Baldwin Middle School in Hudsonville in Division 4, are the Lower Peninsula sites.

Finals events continue throughout the day in the Upper Peninsula, while the remainder of the morning session in the Lower Peninsula will see preliminaries and semifinals contested in the 100-meter dash, the 100/110-meter high hurdles and the 200-meter dash.  The morning session will conclude in the Lower Peninsula shortly before Noon, and Finals running events will begin at 1 p.m.

Fans can take advantage of an NFHS All-Access Pass this Spring, with a $9.95 subscription giving a viewer access to live events throughout the tournament.  Over the three weekends of live Spring championship coverage, the following events will be featured:

·  Track & Field Finals – May 30
·  Lacrosse Finals – June 6
·  Baseball-Softball Semifinals and Finals – June 11-13
·  Lower Peninsula Girls Soccer Finals – June 12-13

All events will be available for free on-demand viewing by Wednesday the week following their initial live airing.

In addition to the live network Finals coverage, participants in the MHSAA’s School Broadcast Program will be covering at least six games next week in the Girls Lacrosse and Lower Peninsula Girls Soccer Tournaments.

Regional Semifinal Soccer action will take place with doubleheaders on Wednesday at Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern in Division 2, and Williamston in Division 3.  A Division 2 Girls Lacrosse Semifinal double dip at Okemos will also be televised.  Other coverage for next week is pending.

SBP schools involved in the coverage are Cedar Springs and Montrose in Soccer, and Haslett in Girls Lacrosse.
