EAST LANSING, Mich.  – Nov. 16 –  The Michigan High School Athletic Association will provide live and on demand audio and video of the Girls Volleyball Semifinals and Finals this weekend at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek for internet and cable television audiences.
 
Semifinal coverage of the games begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, with video available at FoxSportsDetroit.com and MHSAA.tv, and audio available at MHSAANetwork.com.  Here’s the complete Semifinal schedule:

Thursday, Nov. 18
Class C
Reese (40-4-5) vs. Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (38-12-4) - 2 p.m.
St. Louis (52-15-1) vs. Leroy Pine River (41-17-4) - 3:45 p.m.

Class B
North Branch (66-7-1) vs. Livonia Ladywood (37-19-2) - 5:30 p.m.
East Grand Rapids (46-10-1) vs. Fruitport (42-10) - 7:15 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 19
Class D
Battle Creek St. Philip (61-7-2) vs. Pellston (49-12-5) - 2 p.m.
Central Lake (49-8-5) vs. Plymouth Christian Academy (29-9-2) - 3:45 p.m.

Class A
Bloomfield Hills Marian (67-6-1) vs. East Kentwood (50-19) - 5:30 p.m.

Saturday’s Finals will also be available live for cable television viewing throughout the state on FOX Sports Detroit-PLUS.  You can also enjoy video of the games online at FoxSportsDetroit.com and listen in on MHSAANetwork.com.  The Class D match begins the day at 10 a.m.; followed by Class C at Noon; Class A at 2 p.m.; and the Class B finale wraps things up at 4 p.m.

All of the video coverage will be archived online at MHSAA.tv.  There will be cable playbacks of all Semifinal and Final matches on Comcast Channel 900.  Visit MHSAA.tv for the playback schedule.

The MHSAA is a private, not-for-profit corporation of voluntary membership by over 1,600 public and private senior high schools and junior high/middle schools which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition.  No government funds or tax dollars support the MHSAA, which was the first such association nationally to not accept membership dues or tournament entry fees from schools.  Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
