EAST LANSING, Mich. – April 30 –  PlayOn! Sports, an MHSAA Network television partner, begins its Xfinity Spring sports coverage this Thursday (May 2) with a girls soccer crosstown showdown in the Oakland Activities Association with Rochester Adams at Rochester Hills Stoney Creek.

The two teams are in the top ten in the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association in Division 1 this week, with Stoney Creek ranked sixth, and Adams listed tenth.  Adams reached the semifinals of the MHSAA Tournament last spring, defeating Stoney Creek along the way in the District Finals, 2-1.

Each week’s featured game will be presented by Xfinity to viewers on Comcast Channel 900 on the following Tuesday at 7 and 9:30 p.m., with additional replays throughout the week.  The games will be online for Xfinity subscribers at HighSchoolSports.Xfinity.com, and highlights will also be available on the Xfinity on Demand service.  Here’s the complete Spring schedule:

The second Classic of the Spring season is the 1992 Class D Softball Final between Mendon and Waterford Our Lady from Bailey Park in Battle Creek.  Nicole Williams struck out 10 in twirling a no-hitter as Lakes defeated the Hornets, 2-0.
