This week, the MHSAA Network begins fall coverage of championship action on FOX Sports Detroit PLUS. Here’s the upcoming schedule:

Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart vs. Royal Oak Shrine – MHSAA Class C District Championship at Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart (Taped 11-5-10)
Each week’s featured games will be available for on-demand viewing on the
MHSAA.tv Website the day after their initial playback on Comcast; and highlight package of all games will be available for Comcast subscribers to watch through its Video On Demand service.

· Saturday – Nov. 20 – Girls Swimming & Diving – MHSAA Finals at 3 locations – LIVE on FoxSportsDetroit.com and MHSAA.tv. All meets archived at MHSAA.tv. Meets will be shown on FOX Sports Detroit-PLUS in December.
The
MHSAA.tv Website is being populated with content from member schools participating in the Digital Broadcasting Program. Over 60 schools are involved in the program from the Big 8 Conference, Big Nine Conference, Cascades Conference, Detroit Catholic High School League, Flint Metro League, Capital Area Activities Conference, Kensington Lakes Activities Association, Northwest Conference, Oakland Activities Association, O-K Conference, River Valley Conference, Southeastern Conference, Southwestern Athletic Conference, Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference (Big 16) and the Wolverine Conference. Here are student-produced games posted to the
MHSAA.tv Website from last week:
Games yet to be posted from last week, but which have been scheduled by schools are:
· Volleyball – Quincy v. Jonesville – MHSAA Class C District from 11-1-10
· Volleyball – Reading v. Jonesville – MHSAA Class C District from 11-3-10
· Football – DeWitt v. Mason – MHSAA Division 3 District Final from 11-5-10
· Volleyball – Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern v. East Grand Rapids – MHSAA Class B District Final from 11-6-10
In addition to these athletic events, a variety of other school events ranging from concerts, to interviews, to school board meetings have been posted to the
MHSAA.tv Website. A total of 364 student produced athletic and non-athletic event videos have been posted to
MHSAA.tv since the beginning of the school year.

This week’s edition of
MHSAA Perspective features a commentary called “
Kermit Ambrose,” talking about an icon in high school running in the state of Michigan. It is available as a podcast on the MHSAA Website, and can be heard on nearly 50 radio stations across the state during their regularly-schedule high school sports coverage. You can

Finally – check out the
MHSAASPORTS Channel on YouTube. The channel is being populated with game highlights and feature videos from MHSAA Network telecasts.
The MHSAA Network delivers coverage of regular season and MHSAA Tournament competition across multiple platforms -- cable television, radio and the internet – to fans of high school sports across the state and around the world. In addition to providing content to cable partners Comcast Television and Fox Sports Detroit, the MHSAA Network features two websites –
MHSAA.tv and
MHSAANetwork.com – where fans can click to view or listen to content; and a radio network of nearly 50 stations statewide which annually carry the MHSAA Basketball Finals and the commentary MHSAA Perspective, which airs for 30 weeks during the school year.
