EAST LANSING, Mich. – April 23 –  The video vaults of the MHSAA Network will be opened weekly during the regular season to feature a Classic contest from years past on the MHSAA.tv Website.

The first Classic of the Spring season is the 2008 Division 4 Baseball Final between Bay City Saints and Lutheran Westland from Bailey Park in Battle Creek.  All Saints got a complete game pitching effort from Adam Pijaszek, who scattered seven hits, in a 2-1 victory.  Kevin Gwizdala drove in the game-winner with an RBI single in the fourth inning.

PlayOn! Sports, an MHSAA Network television partner, begins its Spring sports coverage next week.  Four games will be featured in the package.

Each week’s featured game will be presented by Xfinity to viewers on Comcast Channel 900 on the following Tuesday at 7 and 9:30 p.m., with additional replays throughout the week.  The games will be online for Xfinity subscribers at HighSchoolSports.Xfinity.com, and highlights will also be available on the Xfinity on Demand service.  Here’s the complete Spring schedule:

May 2 – Rochester Adams at Rochester Hills Stoney Creek – Girls Soccer
May 10 – Sterling Heights Stevenson at Hudsonville – Baseball
May 15 – New Boston Huron at Carleton Airport – Baseball
