EAST LANSING, Mich. – March 19 – At least 25 radio stations across the state will carry the championship games on Saturday (March 23) of the 2013 MHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament.

The radio coverage is part of a comprehensive broadcasting plan for both the Girls and Boys Basketball Semifinals and Finals, delivering the games to fans over a variety of platforms -- cable television, over-the-air radio and internet audio-video viewing audiences  -- via the MHSAA Network and FOX Sports Detroit.

The MHSAA Championship Radio Network broadcast of all Semifinal and Final games will also air in the tournament market on WVFN-AM in East Lansing.  Here’s the list of network affiliates, with the actual games selected stations intend to air (As of March 19):

Check local listings for the games to be aired in these markets.  The Class D broadcast begins at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday; followed by the Class A game at Noon; the Class C game at 4:20 p.m.; and the Class B contest at 6:30 p.m.  Starting times for the Semifinals on WVFN are 12:50 p.m. on Thursday and Friday for Classes D and A; and 5:50 p.m. each day for Classes C and B, respectively.

The audio of all Semifinal and Final games will be available free on the MHSAA Internet Broadcast Network Website – MHSAANetwork.com.  All games will be archived immediately for on-demand listening. 

Cable television coverage for the Boys Finals will take place on FOX Sports Detroit.  The Class D (10 a.m.), A (Noon) and C (4:30 p.m.) games will be shown live on FOX Sports Detroit.  The Class B game, which begins at approximately 6:30 p.m., following the Class C game will be shown live on FOX Sports Detroit-PLUS and joined in progress following CCHA Hockey.  The Class B game will be shown in its entirety that same evening at 10:30 on FOX Sports Detroit.

The FOX Sports Detroit broadcasts will not be streamed live on the internet, but archives of all games will be available shortly after their completion on the MHSAA.tv Website.

The Semifinal games of both tournaments will have live streaming video available on a subscription basis on the MHSAA.tv Website.  A day pass, enabling a viewer to watch all four games on a given day, is $3.95.  A week pass, allowing viewing of up to eight games is available for $6.95.  Archives of all games are free, and will be posted shortly after the completion of each contest.

MHSAA.tv will also provide other live free video streams during the Semifinals and Finals.  Press conferences following each game will be shown, as well as on-court presentations at the Finals, including the Three-Point and Free Throw Shooter’s Challenges; and the presentation of the Charles E. Forsythe Award.  The post-game presentation of trophies and medals after each championship game will also be streamed.

MHSAA Network video coverage of all Semifinal games will be shown to Comcast subscribers on Channel 900.  Here’s the schedule:

Class A - Game 2 – March 30 – 3 p.m.
Class B - Game 1 – March 31 – 9 a.m.
Class B - Game 2 – March 31 – Noon
Class C - Game 1 – March 31 – 3 p.m.
Class C - Game 2 – March 31 – 6 p.m.
Class D - Game 1 – April 2 – 7 p.m.
Class D - Game 2 – April 2 – 9:30 p.m.

Video DVD’s of all Semifinal and Final games will be available at MHSAA.tv; and audio CD’s of all games can be ordered through the MHSAANetwork.com Website.
