EAST LANSING, Mich. - Nov. 13 -There will be nearly 70 hours of live streaming coverage of various MHSAA Tournament events this weekend on the MHSAA.tv, FoxSportsDetroit.com and MHSAANetwork.com websites.

Coverage begins with audio and video coverage on Thursday (Nov. 15) of the Girls Volleyball Semifinals from Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek.  Live video of all Semifinal and Final games will be available on the MHSAA.tv website, and audio streams on MHSAANetwork.com can be accessed on home and handheld devices.  Here’s the schedule:

Thursday – Nov. 15
Class C Semifinals – 2 and 3:45 p.m.
Class B Semifinals – 5:30 and 7:15 p.m.

Friday – Nov. 16
Class D Semifinals – 2 and 3:45 p.m.
Class A Semifinals – 5:30 and 7:15 p.m.

Saturday – Nov. 17
Class D Final – 10 a.m.
Class C Final – Noon
Class A Final – 2 p.m.
Class B Final – 4 p.m.

 

The championship matches will also be shown on Comcast Channel 900 on the following schedule:

Class A Final – Nov. 20, 7 p.m. Nov. 21, 8 a.m.; Nov. 24,  9 a.m.; Dec. 2, 6 p.m.
Class B Final – Nov. 25, 9 a.m.; Nov. 27, 7 p.m.; Dec. 1, 8 a.m. & Noon; Dec. 2, Noon & 3 p.m.
Class C Final – Nov. 25, Noon; Nov. 27, 9:30 p.m.; Dec. 1, 3 p.m.
Class D Final – Nov. 25, 6 p.m.; Nov. 28, 8 a.m.; Dec. 2 9 a.m.

 

On Friday (Nov. 16), the championship game of the 8-Player Football Playoffs between Bellaire and Deckerville at Legacy Field in Greenville will take place at 7 p.m., with live television coverage on FOX Sports Detroit-PLUS, and live audio streaming on MHSAANetwork.com.  When FOX Sports Detroit televises a game live on it cable channels, the video is not available until after the game is over.  The on-demand video archive will be available shortly after the game’s conclusion at MHSAA.tv; along with post-game comments from the coaches.

 

On Saturday (Nov. 17), MHSAA.tv will be home of live streaming video of the Lower Peninsula Girls Swimming & Diving Finals beginning at Noon.  The Division 1 Finals will take place at the Holland Aquatics Center; the Division 2 Finals are at Oakland University; and Eastern Michigan University will be hosting the Division 3 event.

 

Also on Saturday, there will be live streaming video of four games in the MHSAA 11-Player Football Playoffs on the FoxSportsDetroit.com website.  This week’s Prep Zone games are:

Muskegon v. Caledonia
Battle Creek Harper Creek v. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s
Portland v. Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard
Detroit Loyola v. Flint Beecher

 

All of the Prep Zone games will be archived on the MHSAA.tv website the week after they are played for on-demand viewing.

 

Football Friday Overtime On FOX Sports Detroit

The final edition of MHSAA Football Friday Overtime on FOX Sports Detroit airs at 11:30 p.m. Friday.  An encore presentation takes place Saturday at 10 a.m.   This week’s show will have full coverage of the 8-Player Final between Bellaire and Deckerville, and Semifinal previews of all eight divisions in the 11-Player Playoffs.

 

More Playoffs Games on MHSAA.tv

Each week during the Football Playoffs, the MHSAA Network and its television partner PlayOn! Sports, will produce a contest that will be available for viewing the following Tuesday on the MHSAA.tv and on Comcast Channel 900.

 

This week’s game is a Division 1 match-up with Detroit Cass Tech and Walled Lake Western.  The game will be shown on Comcast Channel 900 the following Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.; and Saturday at 3 p.m.  The game will also be available online for Xfinity subscribers at Xfinity.com/HighSchoolSports, and highlights will also be available on the Xfinity on Demand service.
