EAST LANSING, Mich. - Sept. 25 - There's always fresh content to watch each week on the home page of the MHSAA.tv website. Two games from the School Broadcasting Program are being featured each week, along with a package of highlights from the previous week, and a new MHSAA Classic game from year’s past is placed center stage for fans to relive again.
This week's Best Of series games are:
- Football - Allegan at Plainwell - Produced by Plainwell High School
- Football - Atlanta at AuGres-Sims - Produced by AuGres-Sims High School
This week's MHSAA.TV Highlights features clips of the Allegan-Plainwell, Birch Run-North Branch and Kalkaska-Charlevoix football games, and a girls volleyball match between Fife Lake Forest Area and Onaway. The Birch Run-North Branch highlights will also include a special presentation to the family of former Vassar student-athlete Travis Mills, who is recovering from injuries sustained while serving our country overseas. This week's MHSAA Classic is the 1992 Class BB Football Final between Marysville and Kingsford, which was won by Marysville, 21-12.

Through last Saturday (Sept. 22), the Student Broadcast Program had posted 164 events of all types of athletic and non-athletic events occurring between the schools involved in the program since the beginning o f the school year. There were 63 productions last week – 24 of them athletic events; the remainder programs ranging from daily announcements and news; to village meetings. Last year’s student-produced events totaled 2,474 over the entire school year.
Nearly 60 schools are involved in the School Broadcasting Program. Schools interested in becoming a part of the program should contact John Johnson at the MHSAA Office.
MHSAA Football Friday Overtime on FOX Sports Detroit
Every Friday at Midnight is MHSAA Football Friday Overtime on FOX Sports Detroit. Mickey York and Rob Rubick return to host the weekly 30-minute highlights show. An encore presentation takes place Saturday’s at 10:30 a.m. Here’s where the FFOT cameras are scheduled to be this week:

PlayOn! Sports coverage on Xfinity
PlayOn! Sports, an MHSAA Network television partner, will be in Rockford on Friday (Sept. 14) for an O-K Conference game between Holland West Ottawa and Rockford. It’s the sixth of 13 games that will be featured each week by Xfinity on various platforms.
Each week’s featured game will be presented by Xfinity to viewers on Comcast Channel 900 on the following Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.; Saturday at 3 p.m.; and Sunday at 6 p.m. The games will be online for Xfinity subscribers at Xfinity.com/HighSchoolSports, and highlights will also be available on the Xfinity on Demand service. MHSAA Perspective
Now in its eighth season is the radio commentary MHSAA Perspective, which will air on over 60 radio stations across the state, generally during the local broadcasts of high school games. The program runs for 30 weeks through the end of the winter sports season. MHSAA Perspective can also be accessed from the home page of the MHSAA Website.
