EAST LANSING, Mich.  – March 16 –  The Michigan High School Athletic Association will provide live and on demand audio and video of the Girls Basketball Semifinals and Finals this weekend at the Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing through the MHSAA Network; FS Detroit; and the MHSAA.tv, MHSAANetwork.com and foxsportsdetroit.com Websites.

Semifinal coverage of the games begins at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday.  Here’s the complete Semifinals schedule:

Thursday, March 18
Class C
12:55 p.m. – Flint Hamady v. New Lothrop
2:50 p.m. (Time approximate after first game) – St. Ignace v. Niles Brandywine
Class D
6 p.m. -  Central Lake v. Adrian Lenawee Christian
2:50 p.m. (Time approximate after first game) – Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes v. Ontonagon

Friday, March 19
Class A
12:55 p.m. – Canton v. Detroit Renaissance
2:50 p.m. (Time approximate after first game) – East Lansing v. Detroit Pershing
Class B
6 p.m. -  Detroit Country Day v. Kingsford
2:50 p.m. (Time approximate after first game) – Portland v. Grand Rapids Catholic Central

Saturday’s Finals begin with the Class D championship at 10 a.m.; followed by Class A at Noon; Class C at 4 p.m.;  and the Class B finale wraps things up at 6 p.m.  FS Detroit will cover all games live, with the Class B game being shown on FS-Plus.  The Class B game will be shown on FS Detroit later that evening at 1 a.m., and again at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.  A complete reairing schedule of all games will be announced at a future date.

Video of all Semifinal games will be streamed live and archived on the MHSAA.tv Website.  The Finals will be streamed live on the foxsportsdetroit.com  Website, and archived on the MHSAA.tv  Website. 

The Semifinal games will be shown to over one million cable households following the Finals on Comcast Channel 900 on the following schedule:

Sunday, March 28
10 a.m. – Class C Semifinal - Flint Hamady v. New Lothrop

3 p.m. – Class D Semifinal – Central Lake v. Adrian Lenawee Christian

9 p.m. – Class A Semifinal - Canton v. Detroit Renaissance

Wednesday, March 31
7 p.m. – Class A Semifinal – East Lansing v. Detroit Pershing
9:30 p.m. – Class B Semifinal - Detroit Country Day v. Kingsford

Thursday, April 1
8 p.m. - Class B Semifinal – Portland v. Grand Rapids Catholic Central

Live and archived audio of all games will be available on the MHSAANetwork.com Website.  All of the games will also air in the Lansing area on MHSAA Championship Radio Network flagship station WVFN.  The following stations will also carry Saturday’s finals:  WATZ, Alpena; WBCK, Battle Creek; WATT, Cadillac; WCHT and WDBC, Escanaba; WTRX, Flint; WMJZ, Gaylord; WBBL, Grand Rapids; WHKB, Houghton; WZNL, Iron Mountain; WUPG, Ishpeming; WTIQ, Manistique; WPIQ/WRUP, Marquette/Munising; WLUN, Midland; and WMMI, Mt. Pleasant.  Consult your local listings for the games to be carried on these stations.

The MHSAA is a private, not-for-profit corporation of voluntary membership by over 1,600 public and private senior high schools and junior high/middle schools which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition.  No government funds or tax dollars support the MHSAA, which was the first such association nationally to not accept membership dues or tournament entry fees from schools.  Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
