EAST LANSING, Mich.  – March 10 –  The Michigan High School Athletic Association will provide live and on demand audio and video of the Ice Hockey Semifinals and Finals this weekend at Compuware Arena in Plymouth through the MHSAA.tv and MHSAANetwork.com Websites.
 

Semifinal coverage of the games begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.  Here’s the complete Semifinals schedule:
 

Division 2 - Thursday, March 11
5:30 p.m. - Trenton (23-4-1) vs. Muskegon Mona Shores (16-11-1)
8 p.m. - Warren DeLaSalle (22-5-1) vs. Midland (24-2)

Division 3 - Friday, March 12
Noon -  Chelsea (14-12-2) vs. Flint Powers Catholic (23-2-3)
2:30 p.m. - Calumet (17-11) vs. Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood (20-7-1)

Division 1 - Friday, March 12
6 p.m. - Howell (22-4-2) vs. Traverse City West (17-9-1)
8:30 p.m. - Orchard Lake St. Mary's (21-5-2) vs. Detroit Catholic Central (26-1-1)

Saturday’s Finals begin with the Division 2 championship at 11 a.m.; followed by Division 3 at 3 p.m.; and the Division 1 finale wraps things up at 7 p.m.

The MHSAA is a private, not-for-profit corporation of voluntary membership by over 1,600 public and private senior high schools and junior high/middle schools which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition.  No government funds or tax dollars support the MHSAA, which was the first such association nationally to not accept membership dues or tournament entry fees from schools.  Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
