EAST LANSING, Mich. - Jan. 17 - Game Night on the MHSAA Network this week features an a basketball doubleheader from last week in the Oakland Activities Association when Rochester Adams faced Rochester High School in the annual Crosstown Showdown at Oakland University.

For media outlets in Comcast service areas, here are the day by day listings for the coming week of MHSAA Network programming on Channel 900.  We would appreciate it if you could run at least the Wednesday and Thursday listings, as they are the first air times for new content each week:

In addition to these athletic events, there were 37 other school-produced events ranging from daily newscasts, to concerts, to school board meetings and an presentation on bullying were posted to the MHSAA.tv Website last week.  A total of 1,271 events have been posted since the beginning of the school year.  A record total of 1,479  student produced athletic and non-athletic event videos were posted to MHSAA.tv during the 2010-11 school year.  

The MHSAA.tv Website registered a record 1.48 million pageviews during the 2010-11 school year.  In addition, there were approximately 400,000 pageviews generated by MHSAA Network content being streamed live on FoxSportsDetroit.com.  So far this year, MHSAA Network content has generated nearly 625,000 pageviews.
 
Watch for more schools to begin posting more content in even more sports in the weeks ahead.  Schools interested in becoming a part of the Digital Broadcasting Program should contact John Johnson at the MHSAA Office.
 
The MHSAA Network delivers coverage of regular season and MHSAA Tournament competition across multiple platforms  -- cable television, radio and the internet – to fans of high school sports across the state and around the world.  In addition to providing content to cable partners Comcast Television and Fox Sports Detroit, the MHSAA Network features two websites – MHSAA.tv and MHSAANetwork.com – where fans can click to view or listen to content; and a radio network of over 40  stations statewide which annually carry the MHSAA Basketball Finals and the commentary MHSAA Perspective, which airs for 30 weeks during the school year.
