The Update series is attended annually by over 1,100 school administrators. During the meetings, information about current MHSAA activities is disseminated, issues affecting interscholastic athletics are discussed and attendees are surveyed on various topics.

For the third straight week the MHSAA Network’s high school football coverage on Comcast Channel 900 and the MHSAA.tv Website features a high-scoring, dramatic-ending game. This week it’s Grand Rapids West Catholic’s 42-35 overtime win against previously undefeated Comstock Park.

Early in September, 142 schools were sent checks ranging from $10 to over $300 through a variety of programs the MHSAA is engaged in for the sale of school apparel, DVDs of MHSAA Network presentations, miniature tournament trophies, District tournament programs, and District awards as part of the Scholar-Athlete Award program.
