Responding to requests from athletic administrators at its member schools to provide tools to assist them in the day-to-day operation of their sports programs, the Michigan High School Athletic Association and AbriterSports have reached and agreement in principle to develop a software package which will allow schools to manage the entire process locally while being integrated with the MHSAA’s systems to create a single-entry solution.

FOX Sports Detroit increases its coverage of Michigan high school football this season with a weekly half-hour scores and highlights show, and announces the addition of the 8-Player final to its televised lineup of Michigan High School Athletic Association championship games.

Schools participating in the inaugural Michigan High School Athletic Association 8-Player Football Finals will have a dome to call their own in November, as the Superior Dome in Marquette was confirmed as the host of this year’s championship game by the Association’s Executive Committee at its August 10 meeting.  The game will take place on November 18 at 7 p.m., and will be televised live on FOX Sports Detroit.
