Online rules meetings were launched yesterday for football, soccer and volleyball.  Meetings launch Monday, Aug. 8, for cross country, golf, swimming & diving and tennis.

These required meetings for head coaches and MHSAA tournament officials present the recent changes in playing rules and MHSAA tournament policies and procedures; and this year’s meetings will once again provide detailed and explicit information about the signs and symptoms of concussions and proper after care.

MHSAA staff also provide face-to-face rules meetings in conjunction with coaches conferences and in other special circumstances; but more than four out of five coaches and officials who complete the rules meeting do so online.  The meeting content will be posted for public review after Sept. 8 for football, soccer and volleyball and a week later for the other sports.
